High School Co-Lead Teacher

Waadookodaading Ojibwe Immersion School

Waadookodaading will offer a high school level dual language (60:40) project-based learning model,
centered on a culture of indigenous Anishinaabe language, knowledge and methodology, aligned with
Wisconsin state standards. Instruction will be interdisciplinary with science and the natural
environment leading content area studies. Students will investigate and analyze environmental issues
developing critical thinking skills through observation, problem solving, and reflection.

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Wisconsin certification in the field and grade level(s) of employment or willing to work toward
certification.
2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
3. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Knowledge and experience utilizing Project Based Learning.
2. Knowledge of Ojibwe culture and language.
3. Experience in curriculum development.
