National Honor Society
The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School National Honor Society is an academic club that encourages high academic standards, leadership in the community, outstanding moral character, and service to others. Members of the club have earned a 3.0 or higher GPA, as well as fill out a candidate form, before being selected by a panel of five LCOOS employees. Through National Honor Society students get a chance to perform acts of service to the community, such as hosting blood drives at the school, as well as improve their leadership skills by attending national conferences and then bringing those ideas back to Lac Courte Oreilles.
