K-8 STEM Teacher

Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School

Directly responsible to the K-12 Principal.
Responsible for record-keeping of the aforementioned Technology, Science and engineering classes, i.e.:
attendance, grade reports, quarterly reports, class scheduling, deficiency reports, etc.
Develop, with Curriculum Director a standards aligned curriculum.
Assists in hall monitoring, lunch, recess as assigned.
Meets with parents, in conjunction with the Principal and Student Support Team regarding student grade
reports, disciplinary measures, attendance and communication.
Attend staff meetings.
Responsible for ordering classroom curriculum, resource materials for STEM department.
Assist in school events such as, but not limited to, assemblies, feasts, powwows and graduations.

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Technology or related field.
Wisconsin license certification preferred.
Must be supportive of the philosophy, concept, policy and procedures of the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe
School.
Native American preference in employment.
