Update Phone Numbers and email addresses

Early this morning the school was contacted regarding a community safety threat in the Indian Trail community that had the potential to involve road closures and students waiting for buses. After consulting with the Sawyer County Sheriff's Department and the Lac Courte Oreilles School Board, the decision was made to delay the start of the school day. Ensuring student safety is the highest priority of all members of our staff, however we do regret any inconvenience the late start may have caused.

In order to ensure that emergency notifications are received in a timely manner, it is necessary to remind parents and guardians to update all phone numbers and email addresses with our registrar here at the school. Dowie Barber can be reached at 715-634-8924, ext. 1223. Contact information updates may also be left with administrative assistants in the elementary or high school offices.

In the event of any future weather related late starts, buses will run exactly two hours later than normal and breakfast will not be served. As always please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns
